FRONT-END WEB DEVELOPER

Established in 1999, Receptional is a successful, but friendly digital marketing agency.

We work with an array of established clients (big brands such as Ladbrokes, the Ramblers, SwimShop, and the British Horse Society). We deliver exceptional results and regularly win awards for our work. As a result, our revenues have doubled over the past year.

We are looking for a front-end web developer to help us build on this success.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a developer with at least 1 years’ experience to expand their technical skills and gain a thorough understanding of online marketing.

This is a client-facing role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills – via email, telephone and in meetings.

The successful candidate will be organised with a can-do attitude, great attention to details and self-starter.

You will be involved on a variety of projects, designing and developing websites and web pages.

Working alongside a team of experienced marketing consultants, you’ll learn about the latest techniques in digital marketing.

ABOUT YOU

The right candidate must be an experienced front-end developer, sociable and creative, yet technically minded, with a CV and portfolio that demonstrates:

  • Experience in a development role;
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript;
  • Good understanding of user experience, usability and layout, responsive web design and development
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills

You are likely to have experience working with:

  • Photoshop
  • PHP, Apache sserver
  • Content management platforms (WordPress and Magento in particular)
  • MYSQL or a similar database software

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Receptional is a successful digital marketing agency. Over the past year we have doubled our revenues bringing on fantastic new clients such as Ladbrokes, the Chartered Management Institute, and the Ramblers to name but a few.

To help in our expansion, we want to recruit a driven, hard-working Business Development Executive who will help to grow our client base further.
The role will be in telesales, whereby the successful candidate will be expected to talk to prospective clients about the range of services that we offer. The general day-to-day role will involve:

Calling prospective clients and talking with them about our services, and how we might help them.

Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospects, with the ultimate goal of setting meetings that will be attended by another member of the Business Development team.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, hardworking and a results driven individual. You’re likely to have:

  • Proven experience in a telesales role, although this won’t necessarily be selling digital services
  • Fantastic telephone manner, with the ability to engage prospects with your conversation
  • A very results driven mind-set – it’s imperative that you are target focused
  • Strong organisational skills, to ensure that the pipeline is well maintained and managed
  • Experience with Salesforce, Zoho or other similar CRM system
  • A professional and direct approach to phone conversations

To be successful in this role you’ll need to show that you can:

  • React quickly and effectively when dealing with difficult situations
  • Consistently hit targets, which are likely to include number of calls and number of meetings set

We are keen that you’re able to develop your skills and experience, so we hold regular training sessions (with lunch provided). We like all of our consultants to become Google Analytics qualified.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

You will work 37.5 hours per week, starting at 9am. Dress code is casual.

The salary structure for this role will be a basic package (dependant on experience), plus a healthy commission.

LINK BUILDING ACCOUNT MANAGER

We are looking to recruit an SEO / Link Building Account Manager, ideally with 2 years of agency experience.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and organised. They will be analytical, and able to plan an SEO and Link Building campaign that will deliver ROI for our clients.

The successful candidate will be an advanced user of Google Analytics, Webmaster Tools and other third party industry standard SEO tools, however, full training will be given.

Reporting to the Head of Link Building, you will be the day to day point of contact for a variety of client accounts, managing their expectations and helping to plan SEO and link building campaigns, organising workloads and reporting back on results.

You will need to be responsive to the client’s industry trends, and be able to adapt to changing market places, as well as developments in the search industry that will influence strategy moving forwards.

You will be joining a strong link building team as a link building specialist, however you will also need to direct SEO efforts in the early days of any new account, and so a good understanding of both on page and off page best practice is needed.

Our clients operate in a variety of competitive markets, including retail, fashion, gaming, hospitality, travel, automotive and B2B services. Local, national and international client base.

This will be a client facing role, so good presentation, communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and concisely is essential.

BOOKKEEPING / OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

We are looking for a part-time bookkeeper and office administrator to help us build on our success.

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate should be:

  • Self-motivated
  • Proficient at working to deadlines
  • Able to work carefully and accurately
  • Experienced with Sage’s accounting software
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

THE ROLE

This is a part time position. The main duties are bookkeeping (inputting invoices/statements) and office management.

Bookkeeping:

  • Sales/Purchase ledger – issuing outgoing invoices and paying incoming invoices
  • Credit control – chasing payment for clients
  • Maintaining financial records in Sage and managing petty cash
  • Monitoring our bank balance
  • Checking and paying employees’ expense claims

Office Management:

  • Liaising with our payroll company to ensure employees are paid appropriately and on time
  • Maintaining employee records. Liaising with HR advisor as required
  • Maintaining the records necessary to ensure Receptional meets it health & safety obligations (through liaison with our H&S advisors)
  • Negotiating terms with sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Ordering office stationery and equipment
  • Other duties as required

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This is a part-time role (16 hours per week) with flexible working hours.

You will be based at our office in Flitwick, Beds.

The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director.

The salary for the role is £10-12 per hour, dependent on experience.
