Web Developer (Front End)

Established in 1999, Receptional is a successful, but friendly digital marketing agency.

We work with an array of established clients (big brands such as Ladbrokes, the Ramblers, and the NFU). We deliver exceptional results and regularly win awards for our work. As a result, our revenues have doubled over the past year.

We are looking for a front-end web developer to help us build on this success. You will work alongside our digital marketing team.

THE ROLE:

The right candidate must be a self-professed ‘digital geek’, sociable and creative, yet technically minded, with a CV and portfolio that demonstrates:

  • Experience in a development role;
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, PHP and JavaScript;
  • Good understanding of user experience, usability and layout;
  • Familiarity with content management platforms (WordPress, Drupal, Magento)
  • A healthy interest in social media including Twitter, Google+ and Facebook;
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills

You are likely to have experience working with:

  • Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks or your editor of choice;
  • MYSQL or a similar database software

The successful candidate will be organised with a can-do attitude. This is a client-facing role that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills – via email, telephone and in meetings.

The work will include a wide variety of projects. You will primarily be designing and developing websites and web pages, but the role will also include a strong element of digital marketing. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or an experienced developer to expand their technical skills and gain a thorough understanding of online marketing and SEO.

SALARY AND CONDITIONS

£18,000-£20,000 (dependent on experience) + bonus scheme

You will be based at our office in Flitwick, Beds. Working hours are 9am-5pm.
