Google launched its pay per click service in Feb 2002 to work along side the cost per impression model, which formed the original Google AdWords program. Microsoft AdCenter
Microsoft launched their pay per click service in August 2006 we were one of the first companies in the UK to receive the Microsoft Ad Excellence Membership. The Adcentre system has similar features to both Google and Yahoo, but its main point of difference is that it allows advertisers to target potential customers by their demographic information and increase their bid for users of a certain age, gender and location, which is an extremely useful feature if you are looking to attract a specific target market.
