Channel 4 has announced the launch of its online advertising sales network.
The network, entitled 4 Digital Solutions, will look to compete with similar services offered by Orange and Sky Media, reports Marketing Week.
According to the publication, the service will offer a premium advertising network featuring video streaming and high-end advertising as well as a standardised advertising network.
Marketing Week adds that the move could see the broadcaster license content and help agencies to create online advertising campaigns and content in the future.
Research released by Thomson Intermedia last week revealed an increasing number of British firms looked towards internet advertising during 2006.
