Facebook has made a couple of changes to their Pages to help us get more use out of them.
Firstly, Facebook are introducing a set of features to help manage your Page communication. We can now navigate and interact with other areas of Facebook as your Page, instead of your personal profile. This means we can now choose to receive notifications regarding fan activity, Likes and comments on other Pages, as your Page. You can now get your own News Feed allowing you to engage with the latest news from other Pages you like.
More Opportunities to Share
With millions upon millions of pages, blogs etc shared each month on Facebook, there are now even greater opportunities for Pages to share. Similar to recent Profile changes that gave users more ways to spread stories, Pages will benefit from many of the same enhancements.
This includes featuring photos at the top of your Page, highlighting other Pages you are connected with, as well as the people who are managing your Page.
Lastly, Facebook have approved new features to make your Page more engaging for users. An “Everyone” filter on your Wall provides us with a new way for users to see the most interesting posts first. There is also the ability to discover friends and interests they have in common with your Page.
