Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook has topped this year’s Guardian’s top 100 most influential people in UK media list.
Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey came in second place, as this list reflected the power of social networking sites.
Wikileaks’ Julian Assange climbed from 58th place in 2010, to 32nd this year, following the release of leaked US diplomatic cables last November.
Microsoft chief executive Steve Ballmer fell out of the top 100 this year (29 in 2010), whilst Steve Jobs dropped from top to 5th.
