Receptional are now Google Certified Partners!
Receptional are now pleased to announce their new Google Certified Partner status, following changes to the Google AdWords certification program. Google announced back in late-April their intention to roll-out a new Google Certified Partner program that focuses on AdWords, with the aim of this program being to improve its relationship with and the training available to the vast number of SEM Agencies that manage AdWords accounts.
This new certification program will effectively replace the Google Advertising Professionals program with the grace period for transition between the programs set to expire in October 2010. According to Penny Price, Google’s Vice President, Global Agency Development, the new program gives ad agencies: “More up-to-date, comprehensive, strategy-focused training and certification on the latest tools and best practices for managing AdWords accounts.” We fully welcome and embrace these changes as they will help to improve the quality of our account management through improved staff training and development practices.
The new certification program extends on the Google Analytics Individual qualification, launched in 2009, and includes both an Adwords Fundamental and three Advanced exams, passes for two of which are required for an account manager to gain ‘Associated Qualified Individuals’ status. The three advanced exams relate to Advanced AdWords Issues, the Google Display Network (including YouTube), and an exam for Adwords Reporting and Analysis. All of Receptional’s pay per click employees are currently in the process of studying for these exams with two team members holding ‘Associated Qualified Individuals’ status at present.
As proof and verification of our new Certified Partner status, we are now able to display the new Adwords badge as shown below. This ‘click to verify’ badge takes visitors to the companies profile page and shows what qualifications we hold as a company.
