AdWords Release Automated Rules for All Advertisers

Google has announced changes as it rolls out it AdWords automated rules.

Automated rules allows advertisers to pause or enable ads, adjust your bids and perform other manual tasks.

On top of that, Automated rules can be used to trigger certain events.  For example, an ad that is set to go live on Monday morning – just when the offer it question goes into effect.  Or the system could be used to automatically check every morning whether it was displaying in the top 3 positions the previous day.  And if not, the bid can be increased automatically.

Rules can be run once, daily, weekly or monthly.  Each user or account is allowed up to 10 rules.
