New Additions to Google Display Ad Builder

Google have announced a number of improvements to Display Ad Builder.

Bulk Copying and Editing

With the latest version of Google Adwords Editor, you can now copy your Display Ad Builder ads across your campaigns and make basic bulk edits. These edits include ad names, destination URLs, display URLs and ad statuses.

You can now create customised creatives for each ad group within Adwords Editor. So, you can now create an ad for football tickets and customise the creative to mention Arsenal tickets for users in London and United tickets for Manchester.

Social and Expandable Templates

Display Ad Builder can also help you build your brand and engage users with their new social and expandable templates. These templates include the latest Tweets from your Twitter account in the creative. This is useful if you want to run interchangeable promotions.

Google have also released expandable templates to encourage more interaction from users by increasing the size of your ad on the page. Now, when a user clicks on your ad, it can expand to twice its height or width, depending on the format.

Customising Your Templates

Finally, Google have also launched template customisation. You can now move text boxes and images to where you want within a template. These text boxes can be resized to include more content. There are 180 templates and nearly 100 fonts to choose from.
