Digg v4 Released

Digg founder, Kevin Rose announced yesterday on their blog that the latest version of Digg, version 4 (v4) has gone live.

In his announcement, Rose said that the new Digg has had a "major revision" of their platform; "front end to back end", also stating there will be ongoing changes and developments over time.

Kevin Rose said we can expect the following from the new Digg system:

Faster - to submit content, load pages and Digg content.

More Personal - Users can use a custom "My News" homepage to see activity from the users they follow, publishers and influencers.

More Social - Activity from the profiles you follow is highlighted in stories, comment pages and their profile page.

Overall, Digg is now friendlier to large publishers and media outlets.
