eBay to Ban Google Checkout from its Site

Starting from July 2011, eBay will no longer let Google provide the transaction checkout service on their websites. The only checkout system users will be able to use is their own PayPal service, as well as credit cards.

eBay's reasoning behind this was announced by eBay vice president, Todd Lutwak, stating the new policy is "to give eBay buyers a consistent, speedy checkout experience and to ensure support for fast-growing sales via mobile platforms", written in a blog post last week.

Google Checkout does not offer PayPal.
