During the first six months of 2010, the UK government has asked Google for user information 1,343 times.

During the same time period, the US government has put in over 4,000 such requests.

Google's new Transparency Report, a map designed to show censorship levels around the globe, shows the number of requests 38 countries have made in a six month timeframe. The data goes back to July 2009, up to June 2010.

The map contains no data from China.
