After launching just last month, Google has put a halt to its Street View service in Bangalore, India following objections from the police.

Cameras mounted on cars and tricycles had collected high definition images in streets across Bangalore.

India is not the first country to have concerns over Google Street View.  Last year, nearly 250,000 Germans asked Google to blue pictures of their homes on Street View.
