Google Third Quarter Profits Up 23% on 2009

Yesterday, Google announced their financial results for the third quarter of this year, ending September 30 2010.

Here is a summary:

Revenues - Google reported revenues of $7.29 billion for the third quarter, an increase of 23% compared to the same period of 2009 ($5.94 billion).

Google Sites Revenues - Google-owned sites generated revenues of $4.83 billion (67% of total revenues) during the third period of 2010. This represents a 22% increase over the same period in 2009 ($3.96 billion).

Google Network Revenues - Google's partner sites generated revenues through AdSense programs of $2.20 billion (30% of total revenues) in this period. This is a 22% increase from the third quarter of 2009 ($1.80 billion).
