Google Transit Descends Upon London

Today, Google has launched their latest product, Google Transit.

This means, from today you can access London’s public transport directions through Google Maps.

Google Transit adds public transport information to Google Maps, to aid users to plan trips using bus, tube and DLR routes around the Greater London area.

This latest feature can be used on both PC and mobile devices.  For users on mobile devices, Google Transit automatically uses the phone’s current location to work out the best way to get to the user’s destination.
