Microsoft is attempting to lure iPad users to use its search engine Bing with a new application specifically built for the Apple tablet.
Simply named “Bing for iPad”, this application has been custom designed for the iPad’s sharp and touch-sensitive display. There is also a “Trends” feature designed specifically for this iPad application, displaying the most popular searches of the past week.
There are a set of “tiles” at the bottom of its home screen devoted to Bing areas, including news, traffic, weather and stock quotes.
