Sony plans to restart its PlayStation Network in full by the end of May.
The multinational company shut down its online video game network on April 20 after it discovered a major security breach. They have originally planned to restart some of their services last week.
That has been held back following the news that another large network, Sony Online Entertainment had also been compromised. This put another potential 25 million accounts at risk, on top of the 77 million accounts hacked on the PlayStation Network.

should never have been allowed to happen!
It is unbelievable that a network of this size was not protected against this hack. Considering how many people use the same passwords across different websites the repercussions here will be very far reaching.
