Following a breach of security on the PlayStation network, Sony has brought investigators on board.

Cyber-security detectives from Guidance Software and Data Forte, as well as others have been brought on board.

Details of more than 100 million online game users were compromised which lead to the PlayStation Network and Sony Online Entertainment being taken offline.

Information including names, addresses and credit card numbers were stolen in the attack.
