Microsoft adCenter launches new services

Microsoft is set to reveal the launch of nearly 60 new technologies for its adCenter platform.

The move, at Microsoft's annual Demo Fest, will see the company focus on seven areas of online advertising including, keyword and content technologies, audience intelligence and the selection and relevance of adverts.

Social networking, video advertising, platforms and devices have also been earmarked as areas for development.

Tarek Najm, general manager of adCenter, said: "The technologies showcased at Demo Fest will help create unprecedented opportunity for developers and search engine marketers like the Keyword Services Platform."

Under the new technology, clients will be able to differentiate between tasks consumers are carrying out online such as shopping or searching for information.

Meanwhile, adCenter will be able to analyse how advertisements display during web searches are relevant to consumers.

According to Microsoft, the new service will aim to "provide the best advertising experiences for users, advertisers and developers".
