Microsoft to launch adCenter update

Microsoft will make an update to its adCenter available within the next month, according to reports based on "insider knowledge".

A new version of the search marketing system will be launched by Microsoft, Eric Enge wrote on the Search Engine Watch blog.

"Yesterday I had the opportunity to be briefed on Microsoft's upcoming adCenter plans," Mr Enge wrote. "A new release is planned for four to six weeks, but you can play with it today at the adCenter Beta site."

The paid search professional also mentioned that what he had seen and heard at the briefing included "some cool stuff", with the ability to support Firefox as well as pop-up help among the features noted by Mr Enge.

One of the most prominent features that Mr Enge highlighted was the cross campaign keyword search, which allows the editing of keywords from different campaigns on a single screen, following a global search.

The Microsoft adCenter Welcome Guide was recently launched to help both new and existing adCenter users get the most from the service.
