Yahoo! are shutting down one of the oldest and best SEO tools, their Yahoo! Site Explorer.

Announced on their blog, by Product Manager Hemant Minocha, “Site Explorer will shut down once all markets are transitioned. This is expected later this year.”

Many SEOs had been expecting this.

Yahoo! Site Explorer first launched on 29 September 2005.
