Channel 5 will be launching its first apps for the Apple iPhone, iPad and mobile devices using Google’s Android operating system.

The launch of these apps coincides with the launch of the reality TV show ‘Big Brother’ which airs on Thursday 18 August.

Channel 5 plans to launch their apps with the content from the first Big Brother show shortly after it broadcasts.  However they are still waiting approval from Apple.
