Facebook is taking a step towards improving their search results, by adding popular news articles.
These news articles in Facebook search results are being ranked by how many "likes" and "shares" the articles have received from its users.
The results currently only show in the search box, currently being tested in the USA. If you complete your search without choosing one of the options from the dropdown, the ensuing search results page does not include news articles.
