The world’s largest social games developer, Zynga, best known for creating the FarmVille game for Facebook has opened an office in Dublin, Ireland.

With over 250 million monthly users, the company has grown substantially since it was established in San Francisco, USA four years ago.  Nearly 100 staff have been hired to work in their Dublin office.

Operations in Dublin will focus on customer care services, online community management, content management and business functions.

Google, Microsoft and Facebook all have major offices in Dublin.

Zynga's latest Facebook game, Empires and Allies has over 10 million users in less than two weeks after being released.
