Twitter has just gone past the 1 million registered applications mark.

According to Twitter, a new app is registered every 1.5 seconds, built by one of the 750,000+ developers around the world.

This news come timely with Twitter’s new developer site, which allows anyone in the ecosystem to start building and connecting directly with Twitter team members.
