Internet Explorer 9 Available September 15

Microsoft will be launching a revamped Internet Explorer 9 beta at the Beauty of the Web event in San Francisco on September 15.

The first details of IE9 were released at the end of 2009, shortly after development began. This includes support of all the HTML5 standards, usage of DirectX hardware acceleration to improve graphic and AJAX rendering, and CSS support.

Internet Explorer remains the world's most popular internet browser, despite a steady decline since 2004 with the emergence of Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.
