Dixon Jones' next few speaking engagements
In February I look set to be participating at an unusual array of speaking engagements, starting with a trip to the arctic circle.
The annual Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference and Expo (RIMC) will be taking place on Friday 8th February at the Hilton Nordica in Reykjavik, Iceland. The conference will focus on online marketing and advertising and feature a host of international and Icelandic speakers. The keynote speech will be delivered by the Icelandic Minister of Commerce, Björgvin Sigurdarson. A number of companies, who work in advertising and publicity on the internet, will also be exhibiting their products and services at the RIMC Expo which will be held alongside the conference. RIMC 2008 is geared towards marketing professionals, web editors, sales managers and company directors, as well as anyone who uses the internet for business. The organisers say the event offers an "excellent chance for peer-to-peer networking and a unique opportunity to learn about the latest developments in marketing and advertising." Further details are available via www.rimc.is
Later in the month, I will be talking at the well established Search Engine Strategies conference in London on the 19th-21st February. The topics will be balancing "paid and organic search" and "link building fundamentals." SES is organized and hosted by renowned search authorities Mike Grehan and Kevin Ryan and delivers real-time actionable information you need to grow your business through search engine marketing (SEM/SEO), explaining the ins-and-outs of search engine marketing from top search experts and the search engines themselves. The event is at the Business Design Centre, Islington. You can get 10% off if you use priority code: "10NMA" when booking.
If you are looking for a more intimate setting and happen to have an MBA, I will also be talking at theSociety of MBAs on the evening of the 27th of February at the White Hart Inn, Old Beaconsfield, South Bucks. If you would like details on this organisation, you can contact Receptional and we will pass on your details.
