Google and Mediasurface announce search partnership
Under the deal, the British-based internet content management company will see its Morello service integrated with the Google Search Appliance (GSA).
Although GSA will deliver similar results to Google's main search service, Mediasurface clients will be able to search for content on web servers, databases and business applications.
Chief executive Lawrence Flynn said: "Our relationship with Google will help us deliver even more value to our users. We already have a number of joint customers and this formal agreement was a natural progression of that relationship."
Users will also be able to search using "keymatch" terms, specific words that allow certain content to appear at the top of results.
The partnership is also set to see Mediasurface and GSA group manage information for specific audiences.
Mediasurface claims to be a leading company in helping businesses to take full advantage of the internet.
