Internet Marketing Consultant:
Starting Salary: £18,000 - £19,500 depending on experience
Receptional Ltd. is an Internet Marketing Agency that currently promotes the internet presence of approximately 70 companies. We are now looking for a confident client facing individual to manage internet marketing accounts. This role will require working effectively within a busy office, in business networking and in client facing meetings. Good numeracy and literacy skills, a basic understanding of statistics and well developed interpersonal skills are required.
An understanding of website development and knowledge of html would be an advantage.
Duties
Client Account Management:
You will be the main day-to-day contact for important client accounts. This will involve developing and presenting strategies to promote their internet presence, writing lucid reports (often read by clients at director level) and off-site client meetings (may extend outside normal working hours, with travel).
Key Responsibilities
· Develop clients’ websites to improve their promotional potential (keyword analysis, ‘optimising’, marketing pages, descriptions)
· Manage clients’ websites to improve their functionality (web forms, downloads, newsletters, updates, calculators)
· Manage performance related (pay per click) campaigns and internet advertising
· Write (monthly) progress reports for clients (traffic analysis, referrals, rankings, planned activities)
· Develop close client relationships and increase client share (promoting additional Receptional services to the client)
Other Responsibilities
· Maintain and develop awareness of internet marketing techniques and best practise (forums, team meetings, conferences)
· Promotion of Receptional’s in-house websites (e.g. affiliate sites and ancillary services)
· Help develop new business for Receptional (e.g. contributing information for proposals and networking)
· Other related duties as necessary (e.g. using your strengths to help others in the team to meet their goals, contributing to the Receptional Newsletter)
· Contribute personal skills, abilities and personality to further the objectives above
Personal Attributes
The role requires:
· Good interpersonal skills (face to face and telephone) to develop client relationships and to work with colleagues
· An outgoing, confident personality
· A preference for meeting and developing working relationships with new people
· The ability to search for information on the internet and to use e-mail
· Good literacy, numeracy and keyboard skills (much of the working day will be spent on a computer)
· A basic understanding of statistics to present quantitative information (in MS Excel) and the ability to write lucid reports (in MS Word)
