Dixon is well respected in the Search Marketing community, having set up Receptional in 1999 after identifying the importance of Internet Marketing for modern industry. As one of the founding fathers of the search engine marketing industry in the UK, Dixon regularly participates as a speaker and moderator at major Internet conferences around the world including SMX; SES and Pubcon. He is also a moderator at WebmasterWorld.

Dixon's degree is in Maths and Management Studies and he previously wrote and ran Murder Mysteries for a living before selling the business at the turn of the Millennium. He still sells a few of his original games online. He is a dedicated family-man, but still finds time to play online chess (badly, he says) and in good weather drives a very orange Kit Car.

Dixon’s main role is being responsible for keeping Receptional’s services and skillsets at the forefront of the ever changing curve of the Internet Marketing Industry. In other words, Dixon makes sure we’re always one step ahead of the rest in what we offer.

Quite the public speaker, Dixon provides a “thought leadership” voice to the industry though conferences and industry events and defining Receptional’s new products strategy.
