Richard Picking is a professional marketer with over 20 years experience in International Corporates. Richard has worked with major brands in many countries around the world, and held the position of Worldwide Head of Marketing for an international chemical company.
As of January 2010, Richard is now Receptional's MD, and as such is working towards expanding the business and driving us forward into the next decade which is certain to be an eventful one in all things online.
Working as a marketing consultant for the past 12 years, Richard has focused on the Technology sector, helping household brands to embrace technology opportunities as part of the marketing mix, and also assisting hi-tech start-ups to establish effective, and high growth, business plans.
As Marketing Director at Receptional, since 2001, he has worked with fellow Directors on business growth, technology advances, and the client interface, to ensure we fully understand client needs, and offer them the richest possible Internet opportunities and returns.
Outside of work, Richard has a busy family life, a demanding garden, and a lifelong interest in motorbikes, fast cars, and adventure sports – including scuba diving, windsurfing, water skiing, snow skiing, & rock climbing.
