Blogs are a type of website used by individuals or companies for posting entries around any given subject. They are usually displayed in chronological order and usually contain links to sites or comments related to the subject being discussed. They can be used as personal diaries or as forums for discussing related subjects; with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. These can be written by anyone and can gain massive followings online, e.g. Huffington Post had 8.9 million unique visitors in February, 2009.
