Receptional’s award success continues as it has been announced today that we have been nominated for eight European Search Awards this year.
The European Search Awards celebrate the best in SEO, PPC, Digital and Content Marketing in Europe. The awards we have been shortlisted for are:
Best Use of Search – Retail – Discount Supplements
Discount Supplements is a leading UK retailer of sports and health supplements.
Receptional developed a cross-channel approach, investing in SEO and PPC. PPC efforts saw a traffic increase of 180%, branded sales up 8.2% and Google shopping sales up 29.1% year on year. The SEO work achieved a traffic increase of 144%, organic mobile revenues up by 92% and 281 high quality links built to their site.
Best Use of Search – Third Sector – MQ
MQ are a mental health charity. Through funding mental health research, MQ’s aim is to better understand, treat and prevent mental illness.
Our PPC team restructured MQ’s account, using our own unique approach for keyword strategy. Our SEO team designed and outreached a hard-hitting infographic to bloggers to raise awareness.
The work we undertook for MQ helped 70,801 people access information about mental health research through paid activity. This compares with just 695 people in the previous 12 month period – a 10,087% increase. Also, organic traffic was up 112% and conversions are up 179%.
Best Use of Search – Third Sector – Concern
Concern Worldwide does vital work helping the poorest, most vulnerable, people around the world. The charity’s aims are to tackle hunger and transform lives.
We worked with Concern to create a new approach to the charity’s online aid advertising activity and achieved a 74% increase in conversions: compared to the target of 100% we secured 174%. Concern also increased revenue, compared to the target of £15,000 we raised £19,641.11 a 74% increase. Leaving Concern with a return on investment (ROI) of 128% which is a 133% increase over our target ROI of 60%.
Best PPC Campaign – Bill Plant
Bill Plant is the UK’s third-largest driving school. They’re expanding rapidly. At present, they’re training more than 1,200 instructors in the UK.
We used a variety of advanced and complementary PPC techniques to achieve a 161% increase in revenue versus the previous year, alongside this, Bill Plant’s return on investment has increased by 60%.
Best PPC Campaign – Bright Horizons
Bright Horizons are a high quality child care provider based in the UK, they currently have more than 300 locations countrywide.
Receptional tested new PPC techniques and channels such as search remarketing and customer match campaigns, YouTube ads, dynamic display remarketing and mobile-specific campaigns. By working with Receptional Bright Horizons saw a 3772% increase in enquiries, which can be attributed to paid search.
Best Local Campaign – Signature
Signature is a provider of high-end, quality care homes in the UK. Their aim is to provide exceptional care, delivered by compassionate people, in a high quality setting.
Our campaigns for Signature target users in the catchment area of each home. We created highly targeted PPC activity to attract relevant traffic to the site. We re-organised Signature’s Google My Business account and we reviewed the site’s on-page SEO, improving rankings for hundreds of local keywords.
Our SEO and PPC efforts saw an overall website traffic increase of 111%, an increase in rankings for 108 keywords, nine of which leapt from being unranked to 1st position. PPC enquiries increased by 110%, PPC click through rates increased 378% and location-specific conversion rates increased by 291%.
